A directory is only useful when visitors can understand where its information came from and what still needs to be checked.
Sources
Base directory records are drawn from OpenStreetMap, an open geographic database maintained by contributors and licensed under the Open Database License. Higher-priority travel details are supplemented with official government, park, transit, operator and business sources. Each place page links to the source used and shows the review date.
Time-sensitive information
Hours, fares, schedules, prices, access rules, inventory, closures and licensing can change without notice. KeysCompass summarizes these details when they materially help planning, but visitors should confirm them with the linked operator before making a special trip. Emergency information must always come from current local authorities; call 911 for an immediate emergency.
Ranking and advertising
Search results are not sold. Verified-source labels reflect stronger sourcing, not payment. If advertising is added, ads will be visually separated from editorial and directory results. A sponsored relationship will be labeled plainly and will not alter factual source notes.
Corrections
The preferred correction path is the original source: businesses should update their own website and OpenStreetMap record where appropriate. KeysCompass can then re-import and review the change. This keeps the broader public-data ecosystem accurate instead of creating a private conflicting copy.
